Thank you for visiting the official information page for the 2009 California State Band Championships sponsored by the Southern California Judging Association. This year’s event is the 3rd Annual California State Band Championship event. Participants receive an initation by placing 1st in their division at a sanctioned Regional event or by earning an at-large position if one is available. This year, SCJA has partnered with Band Director Kevin Morton and the San Gorgonio High School Band who will host the event at San Gorgonio High School on November 21, 2009. Please keep checking back for updates on who has qualified as well as general information that will be bosted in the coming weeks leading up to the event.
